Local Author and Illustrator Team Up for “The Littlest Knight” Children’s Book Launch

OTTAWA, Ontario – May 13, 2013 – Local author Tanya Chang and illustrator Darren Bird will be launching their debut children’s book, The Littlest Knight, at a book signing hosted by Tag Along Toys in Kanata (Signature Centre, 499 Terry Fox Drive) on June 1, 2013 from 11am until 2pm.

The Littlest Knight is a tale about a young boy who longs to be a knight. When told what he must do to fulfill his dream, Nicholas sets out on a quest to slay a dragon and become a knight. Along the way, he makes new friends and learns that there are different ways to perceive the world when seen through the eyes of others, and perhaps what we want isn’t always what we need.

Although written with an audience of children aged 4 to 8 in mind, The Littlest Knight is already proving a big hit with children and adults alike as they lose themselves in the vividly illustrated adventure which introduces fairies, elves and dragons.

The Littlest Knight is a full-colour 32-page softcover book retailing for $16, and is available online at Etsy (via, at Tag Along Toys in the Kanata Signature Centre, and from Perfect Books on Elgin Street.
